Cacti (cactee or cactuses, whatever you want to call them) are awesome!
I say they are the new ‘plant trend’ for sure. Bring Mexico inside the house please.
These first two images are from the amazing and inspiring personal blog laurejoliet.com called At Home At Home. Laure Joliet is a photographer and shoots interiors and lifestyle for publications like the New York Times, Sunset Magazine and California Home + Design. As well as social media and commercial projects. The photographs are amazingly soft and inspiring. Can’t stop scrolling and scrolling down this blog.. so worth sharing with you for sure!
This terrarium is one of the many awesome designs by scoreandsolder.com. This site is dedicated to these beautiful little plant houses. To bad they’re pretty expensive, hope they’ll come with a cheaper version soon! For people with exclusive style and enough money, go take a look, they have amazing other ones as well.
Aren’t these pots cute! Found them trough pinterest, they are for sale on Etsy. These can chair up your interior so easily! And although they have faces, they are far from childish or corny! Love the retro colours. She makes them herself from ceramic. And I’ll assure you that checking out her site will give you a good mood right away.
A tree in your house.. Wouldn’t that be awesome. Like the first image, getting your garden inside the house to enjoy it everyday, even if it’s raining or snowing! Well you need quite a big house, money and time for that.. But you can totally do it as a smaller version of this first pic. Get inspired by the other images.
What do you think, already running towards the gardenshop to get a tree inside your house?
Plants, Plants, Plants.. I’ve been loving them more and more, and the love is still growing.
We work and live in environments all very industrial. There’s not many trees to be found around here anymore, and that’s for workspaces and houses almost the same. There are plants, but mine opinion says there are not enough natural brown and bright green colours around here anymore.
I started saving up jars and cans so I can DIY a bit, and create a fun way to put some plants into my house. I have a quite cute and nice ensemble of plants right now, all gathered on one retro table in front of the window. But I want more! more plants, more DIY ideas to make my house cozy and more me. Different from other houses and original.
I’ve found these first 3 photo’s through several tumblrs. I was really curious who made the pics so didn’t stop searching until I found the actually source and photographer. She’s from Shizuoka, Japan. Obviously loving vintage and retro photography. I’m very inspired by her stream and website -> charmante.petit.cc . Although I’m not able to read Japanse, her photo’s are enough to just browse trough and enjoy. That’s why they came up with the well-known proverb right? ‘A picture tells you more than a thousand words’.

I collected some diverse and inspiring workspaces to share with you.
It’s not just a desk where you sit behind and work.. It’s a place you spend more than half your day. A place where you still need to get inspired when for example sitting behind the computer or while drawing.
I prefer to have day light and space myself, but some people need plants, maybe lots of space and others can work on a tiny desk surrounded by inspirational prints.
What’s your workspace like?
Love love love the old cabinet in the last picture. It would look so nice in an interior for anything; books, porcelain, souvernirs or shoes like in the picture here. It looks very neat, and in a way it feels as if a cabinet like this adds value to the product that’s inside. The shoes aren’t just shoes anymore thrown into a corner. They become a beautiful accessory almost like they are exhibited as an addition or part of the interior. What would you put inside?
Who wouldn’t want to have a tipi or tent in their house? Like you would build one as a child. You’re own imperium, where you could be with your teddy-bears and flashlight. Telling scary stories to you’re friend who’s sleeping over in you’re own build tipi made of bedsheets and blankets, hold together with clothespins. Isn’t that the ultimate coziness? Or a couch full of pillows, blankets and a wool sheepskin. Placed somewhere in a corner where the warm and yellow sunlight shines on your face while you’re reading a book and enjoying a cup of tea? Can’t wait to find myself a nice house (once I’m ready to settle haha) and make myself the most cosy living room ever.
Well enjoy these under here already!
