Yay! Yesterday I moved to my new apartment together with my friend Mmarlie. Soon I’ll share some photo’s with you how it all looks like. But first we need to make it a pretty house (there’s so much rubbish, random stuff and boxes everywhere!) How? By pimping some of our furniture. And so I went searching for some inspirational DIY’s.
Spray-paint always works. You can add more colour in your interior by just adding some small coloured accessories or just spray-paint items, like flower pots, table-legs, photo frame’s etc.
We have quite some space to stall are accessories. With 2 sides of the house being fully glass, we have lots of light. In front of all the windows are boxes placed over the heatings, so we can even sit on them, chill by the window and stall out my pots, vases, candles, plants… and so on! I collected some other fun and easy DIY’s for the interior.
OK, I did post about wall rugs and macrame a few weeks ago. But.. I came across a few more that I HAVE to share with you. These are so amazing. I would do anything (ok almost anything) to get one myself!
I found them on the website Brook&Lyn and next to these beautiful wall rugs they have gorgeous jewelry as well.
I found some other great wall -as I may call them – ‘thingy’s’. Cute stuff to decorate your walls with, including necklaces.
The fun part about this.. I’ll be moving to an apartment this weekend together with a friend. And so we have to decorate the whole place and my own bedroom (which is so big I’ll have a second living area in there as well hihi) So much fun, can’t wait to use all these little ideas!
We don’t always need those boring closets on the walls of our kitchen right? There are much nicer options to stall your plates, cups, pans, herbs and so on! The plates and cups you buy are the ones you like and want people to see and use right, why hide them? I think we should show them off and give our kitchen a more ‘lively’ appearance. Get inspired!
Not sure if I ever will or want to marry. I mean, I’m not religious, so I don’t have to and don’t think it’s quite necessary. But maybe one day, when I find the perfect man.. there might be a chance it happens right? And why not dream about beautiful dresses, cakes, flowers, a cozy dinner and party with your best friends and family? Every woman is allowed to dream about this from time to time!!
These first images are the wedding of blogger James – from Bleubird – with her husband Aubrey. Their wedding to me looks like a perfect one. A nice amount of family, friends and ofcourse their beautiful children. With a country/bohemian theme, beautiful location and an awesome photo report. Do take a look a bluebird’s blog to see the rest of her report.
This dress is so amazingly flowy in the wind! Love it. And a gorgeous wedding pic as well.
I could see everybody enjoying their dinner, children playing in the field and have a nice party afterwards inside the house with a jazz band or something?
I always said I wouldn’t want to have a wedding ring.. since everybody has one, and I guess they’re just not my cup of tea. But this one I would totally wear! Love the idea with the secret message inside, and the little flowers. So retro!
What a gorgeous back! I Love lace and vintage dresses just like this one.
A gorgeous dose of rugs and macrame for the home.
I love these ‘hippy and bohemian’ art pieces. You can call it art right? You don’t really ‘use’ it, but it looks really nice in interiors like these. Damn I would love one in my house or as a replacement for a door or something, like a curtain-thingy or room separator. So exotic.
