A city that totally stole my heart. Without any expectiations I decided to take a trip with one of my friends and see what’s going on there. Some of my friends already told me this city is just perfect for me, I had to see that myself.. and if they were right. Full of enthusiasm I’m now writing and selecting images about this amazing city. In a few words Kopenhagen and it’s citizens are calm, friendly, creative, down to earth, colourful and fashionable. You see street art everywhere that colour the gorgeous and rich architecture throughout the city. Parks and nature around every corner. No trash or dirtiness anywhere. No rush nor stress is felt while walking down any street. People like their space and respect others’ aswell. Bikers are well respected as well and so they created private bike lanes next to the broad car lanes and sidewalks. I’ve spotted a lot of gorgeous restaurants and bars with interesting menu’s and fantastic interiors. A street that is my fav is vaernedamsvej. You;ll find the fantastic ‘playtime’ shop filled with typography posters, mugs, stationary and wonderful staff. Situated next to the fantastic ‘Rist’ coffee place, Café Central and across from Granola Restaurant. All the best of Kopenhagen in one street. There’s a couple of great food markets in the centre and across the river to check out ow and don’t forget to visit the Botanical Gardens and the meatpacking district. Find some more imagery and tips on my instragram as well!
We do not have to stick to the kitchy, shiny or ritual decorations for Christmas at all.
So easy to make something yourself, no need for expensive glass or crystal christmas balls at all!
See here some other diy’s and cute decoration ideas for the home this coming holiday.
Not in the mood for a real christmas tree.. allergic, too traditional or maybe just no time?
Here’s some super nice solutions to decorate your house for Christmas without a real tree!
Little branches, painted branch ends, paper folded trees, posters perfect replacements.
I actually like this even more than the traditional trees to be honest. Get inspired!
After trying to upload some pics from Mimizan for a thousand times, I gave up and left the draft for today to finish. So I just got home, after a 3 weeks stay at the O’Neill surf camp. It’s been a while since I blogged so really time to show you some pics. Although it’s a surf camp, I didn’t surf much, since the waves weren’t that great. To bad, because I actually wanted to improve my surf skills. But glad we had some nice longboards so I could surf the streets as well. I’ll show you some more overall pics in the next blog-post. First an outfit post!
I went for a nice dinner at the Pura Vida with Maxime. While walking trough Mimizan-Plage and having a chill session at the beach we made some pics.

It’s already been 1,5 week since I returned from my 7 day’s during trip to Tenerife, but I really couldn’t find any time to even put the pictures I’ve made on my computer. Well.. it’s Friday and I obliged myself to get some leisure time (getting the pictures on my PC and blogging) and not think about school. Time for that Saturday and Sunday again since I have my own fashion-shoot on Sunday, but let’s not talk about that. Will do that another time!
I’ve tried to make some nice photo’s again in Tenerife, focusing on the things that are special and different from our culture. In most photo’s I’m showing my passion for constructions, lines & compositions, contrasts, textures and odd things.
It was such great weather and the sky was so blue that the pics really came out nice I think. If you want to see more? Please check my portfolio site.
I didn’t mentioned before I was going on a very spontanious trip to Tenerife! Well.. This is already my last day over here, and my first day with internet! And what do you do when you finally have internet and have some pictures of yourself in ‘summer clothing’.. Yes! Make an outfit post :)
It’s much better and warmer weather than we expected and a relieve it isn’t that busy and stuffed with drunken English men or whatever kind of tourists. The sun already created a brown tan on my skin the first day! The views here are amazing, there’s nature everywhere and I love the variety of cactuses and palmtrees living on this island actually just being a huge vulcano.
Oh the dress and envelope purse I just bought a couple days before I left Holland, the hat and leaf bracelet I bought over here.

Conclusie, een geslaagde 3 weken werken bij O’neill en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.. how know’s I’ll be back next year!?
En omdat foto’s maken natuurlijk een hobby van me is, heb ik er ook een paar geschoten op deze vakantie. Check ze hieronder…
