I am a big fan of Lofts. The idea that all rooms in a house are situated in one space gives me a satisfying feeling. Being in the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom all at the same time kind of just makes sense to me. I always take my breakfast with me to the bathroom when doing my make-up in the morning, I drink tea wherever I want, which results in finding used mugs and glasses everywhere around the house all the time haha. I change seats while watching a movie all the time just because and the doors to every other rooms are always open. Conclusion, I don’t like small, closed-off spaces. I much more appreciate airy, light spaces and a home should for sure be a place where you’re most comfortable right?
I’ve dedicated this post to show you the most beautiful Loft apartments I’ve came across while browsing the internet and use as inspiration, that reflect my future project or/and just to dream away by. Enjoy!
I love change in my own house.. I try to switch around with the furniture, change the accessories every few weeks or see if I can replace an item that I don’t like that much by something new. And something new doesn’t mean it has the be ‘new’. Actually I like secondhand stuff much more. Though a brand new couch or table would look nice. But I believe a new and modern item like a couch or a table mixed with some secondhand items can probably give you the perfect interior.
I’m changing my interior bit by bit from student like living to an actual house! Last week I got rid of my old desk. I got that one when I was studying and didn’t have money to buy a fancy one but replaced it by something much better.
Now I like a clean and empty desk. Who can work on a messy desk right? Well, I can’t though.. So I went trough my interior moodboards and used these interiors as my inspiration! I’d love to share some of them with you.
I actually bought the white desk you see in the pictures here. A drawer on one side just like the first picture and one support leg like in the last 3 pictures. And let me tell you a little secret.. a fancy desk doesn’t have to be super expensive.
Ikea does it.. Easy does it!
Find yourself a cool vintage light and maybe some plants.. and ready to use that gorgeous desk!

I’m working on some tote bags myself. Just as small gifts for friends or to use as grocery bags etc.
I think they’re the most handy bags in the world! And so easy to make. Just buy a fabric pencil and draw something cool on it!
This Vlisco wax print bag I made myself. I still had some fabric left from the jeans jacket diy I did a while ago.
It was precisely enough to make this bag out of it, and I recycled a pair of shoulder straps from another bag to finish it.
So happy with my tiny cactusses and little plants I’m growing.
Meet our pets Patrick and Kevin. For sure the easiest dogs you can get yourself.
Never enough plants in the house! Meet our indoor garden we made on some old stairs my grandpa used for painting in houses back in the days.
I have my own corner in the livingroom to DIY and remake my clothing with these retro Pfaff I got from an auntie.
I guess it was about time I should share some photo’s of my new appartement I share with my friend. We both love vintage accesories and furniture.. Although we don’t have the exact same taste in interior styling I think we made a good combination out of our stuff. The first 6 pics are from my bedroom. The other ones I took from the livingroom and open kitchen.

Last Thursday I randomly had a morning and afternoon off. I mostly work during the whole week, so when finding out I had a free day I thought.. “what the h* am I going to do!”
Well I woke up early because of the bright sunbeams shining on my face. Started off with some exercises and a healthy smoothie breakfast. Finding myself cleaning the house after that and decided I should go and finally buy myself some stuff at IKEA. So that’s what I did. Jumped on my bike and after a 15 minutes bike ride, I walked through an almost empty store and got myself those tiny cacti plants I’ve been wanting to have for so long! Ow and a tobacco plant with the height of more than a meter.. jup I managed to get it all save home by bike. I can tell, it was fun riding my bike, the plant blocking the view a bit, but ow did I feel like mother earth haha. Anyways, I’m happy with my new plants like a little child with a new toy.
I recently bought myself some vintage tins, already thinking about filling those with cactuses. Found them all at a second hand night market. An events that takes place once a year in Tilburg, and manages the whole city centre to be full of people selling their stuff on the streets. A great concept for a night out with friends for sure!
Planting the cacti left me with some needles in my hands though but guess that’s part of the deal right! And to finish my afternoon off, I had a nice chill session at the city park. Days like this make me happy!
